Armchair Astronomy Our Armchair Astronomer Ken VanLew visits Roseheart every other month to talk about a variety of astronomy related topics. His presentations are informative and educational but delivered in a format that is fun and challenging. We would love to have you join us – you won’t be disappointed. There is a speaker fee of $10 per person payable at the door (only $5 for first time attendees)..    
Bible Topics Bible discussions open to the community. Participants meet on the 2nd Saturday of each month at 10 AM at the Clubhouse.

Binding Hearts Ladies invite any widow in Roseheart to join us on the first Saturday (Lunch) at 11:15 and the third Monday (Dinner)at 4:15. We meet in the Clubhouse Parking Lot to carpool together to local Restaurants for visiting and dining!!!    
Book Club Book lovers meet last Thursday of each month a 6 PM in the Clubhouse to discuss each month’s selection. It is a special time for sharing books read and celebrating our sense of community. All are welcome to join us.    
Bunco An afternoon of playing a dice game at the Clubhouse. 2nd Monday of each month at 1 PM    
Evening Social Bridge Open Bridge (men and women) for evening players. Meets 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at 6:30 PM at the clubhouse.    
Flora and Fauna To educate, share knowledge and increase appreciation of our Roseheart Flora and Fauna. To provide a forum for all Roseheart residents to discuss, educate and highlight our unique natural environment. Our goal is to have an educational presentation, field trip or activity every two months for Roseheart residents, family and friends.    
Hand and Foot An afternoon of playing cards (form of Canasta) at the Clubhouse. 4th Mondays at 1 PM.    
Ladies Bridge Ladies’ bridge, at the Clubhouse, 1st & 3rd Mondays at 12:30 PM. We play “party bridge” for fun -- experience is not a priority. Substitutes are always needed.    
MAH JONGG Meets every Wednesday morning at 10:00 at the clubhouse. Beginners always welcome. Come join this fun group playing an interesting, challenging game.    
Men's Breakfast Come enjoy one another’s company and a hearty breakfast, 7:30 AM each 2nd Wednesday at the Magnolia Pancake Haus. All Roseheart men welcome. Please confirm your attendance to the coordinator no later than 9 AM on Tuesday the day prior of each month.    
Men's Coffee Meets on the 2nd and 4th Friday of each month at 10 AM at the clubhouse for about an hour. It is a time for camaraderie and a time to catch up on the ongoing activities both in and outside of Roseheart. There are also exchanges of ideas on the various aspects of home ownership in Roseheart.    
Men's Golf Watch for announcement of golf outings at various area courses. All men of Roseheart are welcome, regardless of degree of skill. Fellowship rules.    
Men's Movie Night Out Men's Move Night Out is held on the last Monday evening of the month. It is open to all.    
Men's Poker Men’s Poker at the Clubhouse is the last Friday of the month at 7 PM. Our poker style is a nickel, dime, quarter game with many interesting variations. Bring drinks and snacks. Camaraderie rules.    
Military History Monthly discussion on Military History Topics using briefings or historical video clips. Meets on 2nd Thursday of each month at the Clubhouse from 10:30 to 11:30. Topics will vary each month. Purpose is to have an appreciation of Military History.    
Money Matters Group meets the 2nd Thursday of each month at the clubhouse at 6:30 pm. Purpose of Meeting: Open Forum that includes a guided discussion on various financial topics both featured and attendees-initiated issues. Engage industry experts to make presentations on current financial events and those that affect our livelihood. .. Discuss topics of concern or beneficial to the group (Internal or External sources) to hopefully improve our overall financial knowledge .. Discuss and capture individual investment strategies that might be beneficial to participants .. Discuss current and recent financial events .. Adjust topics to meet group’s desires    
Octogenarian Club Meets on the 3rd Friday of each month at 10:30 AM at the Roseheart clubhouse for about an hour. It is a time for camaraderie among similar-aged residents. A time to catch up on the ongoing activities both in and outside of Roseheart but also reminisce about the past.    
Pickleball Pickleball is a fun, social and friendly game. The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players. The sport combines many elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong and can be played both indoors or outdoors on a badminton-size court using a slightly modified tennis net, paddle and plastic ball with holes (similar to a wiffle ball). Groups open to varying skill and experience levels play during the week, Monday through Saturday mornings and evenings. Pokeno Pokeno meets the 1st Thursday of the month at 7:00 pm at the clubhouse for a night of fun, laughs, and gift stealing! Bring a wrapped new gift valued at $10-$15. Snacks to share are welcome as well (but not required).    
REACT The Roseheart Emergency Action Community Team (REACT) is a group of Roseheart volunteers with the purpose of 'neighbors helping neighbors.' Our mission statement is: The mission of REACT is to harness the power of every individual through education, training and volunteer service to make Roseheart safer, stronger, and better prepared to respond to events or needs of our greater community.    
ROAST Monthly meeting (2nd Saturday) for Scotch/Bourbon drinkers (others are welcome) to bring a choice for the refined pallet as meeting will last between 1 and 2 hours. Members can sample new and different tastes. All are welcome; entry is bringing your bottle to share. With a small taste of another and perhaps a history lesson if you’re lucky you may find a new favorite or meet a new friend with like tastes. Slàinte!    
Rack & Roll Billiards Club Come join your neighbors for some billiards fun! Every 3rd Thursday of the month @ 5:30 PM. The monthly blast will just be a fun one leading up the annual Roseheart Championship. Skill level doesn’t matter, the fun ones we will be playing variations, 8-ball, 9-ball, singles, partners etc.    
Rookie Bridge Open Bridge (men and women) for beginners or those who want to brush up on their skills. Meets 2nd Thursday and 4th Friday of each month at 1 PM at the Clubhouse.    
Roseheart Angels The purpose of our group is to serve Roseheart residents in need and to do community service in the San Antonio area. Through fundraisers, donations and volunteer work, the Angels are able to help local families in need. For further information, contact Denise Cope.    
Rummikub Rummikub is a tile-based game using the elements of the card game rummy. Players create groups of tiles in runs or sets of three or more. The first player to use all of their tiles wins. This game is enjoyed by across the globe, so give it a try! "Rummikub brings people to together" Meets on 2nd Tuesday of each month at the clubhouse from 1:00 - 3:00 PM. No eRSVP required as it can be played with 2, 3, or 4 players per table.    
Tennis Club Tennis Club: a wonderful sport and great exercise that can be played even when you are over 80 years old (a famed San Antonio female tennis player is nearly 90 and is a National Champion Singles player in the “over 80s category”). Both singles and doubles are played. Each Wednesday morning at 9:30 am, we have Roseheart Doubles Tennis in which both men and women play. Usually 2 or three sets of doubles are played with players switching partners after each set. There is also a Women’s Tennis Group which plays in the evenings. Come join us in this exciting sport of strategy and skill.    
Texas 42 Texas 42, is held on the 1st Tuesday each month at 7 PM in the Clubhouse. Players contact Mary Ann Horton by noon the day prior to reserve a chair. First-timers (and been-a-long-timers) are directed to Texas 42 <http://www.pagat.com/tile/wdom/texas42.html>; link for rules/tips. A fun evening with one of Texas' favorite table games.
